7360' Relentless Rains Friday.
Camping out at 7360' the whole day of Friday the winds and rain blew through the upper valley in sheets of rain and snow it was pretty incredible to just be up in it let alone camp out all day and experience it all. there were a few moments (from 11 am to 1 ish) when it would lighten up and i would wander off and explore a bit of the hillsides and try to stretch the legs a bit. about 2 pm it just set in hard i gathered wood for the day made lunch and just set myself up to stay warm and dry. kept the fire going all day long. the fire pit reflected the heat back into the tent and small area nicely. In the evening there was a few small sparrows that came to bath in the large puddle of water just out front of my camp. as they sang in the rain for some time it was a comfort and a friend. when no-one was around for miles and miles. it felt absolutely surreal to some aspects and all to real in others. Peace n Love Everyone.Read More
